Gulfport — Produced Water Reuse: Offloading Guideline

Gulfport Operating Guideline O.G.E11-206 · v.1 · 7/18/2026

All water haulers offloading produced water at a Gulfport reuse location are expected to follow these requirements. The goal is to transfer fluids successfully while working safely and protecting the environment.

  1. All traffic into the Gulfport reuse location shall follow the Traffic Control Plan (TCP) for that location and obey all posted speed limits.
  2. Upon entering the authorized haul route, radio in your position on the designated CB channel per the signs (use the callout signs when applicable).
  3. When space is verified at the offload station on the pad, proceed into the location at a speed not exceeding 5 mph.
  4. Before backing into position, verify there are two spotters (one front, one rear) to assist safe movement.
  5. Once backed into the designated offload lane, set your brakes and await further instruction.
  6. The offload station attendant will review the JSA & truck manifest before you exit the vehicle.
  7. Have and put in place all of the following:
    • Cone at the front of the truck
    • Catch pan at the pump
    • Wheel chocks
    • Cone at the rear passenger side of the truck/trailer
    • Fire extinguisher easily accessible on the exterior of the truck/trailer
  8. The attendant places a large cone with a flag at the front of the truck marking that it is not to move. The cone and flag shall only be moved by the offload station attendant.
  9. Connect hose and ground cable to the truck. Sight tubes are highly required. Secondary camlock securement must be used (pins, straps, clips).
  10. Once verified by the attendant and driver, open your valves; the attendant opens the manifold valves to begin offloading. The driver is the only person qualified to operate valves on the truck; offload attendants are the only people qualified to operate Gulfport's manifold valves.
  11. When offload is complete, disconnect the hose and verify all valves and caps on the truck are in the proper off and locked position.
  12. Complete a 360° walk-around and remove your front cone / catch pan / wheel chocks / rear passenger cone. Do not get back in the truck to leave without first doing a 360 inspection.
  13. The attendant removes the flag once verified you're clear to pull away from the offload manifold and will escort the truck from its lane.
  14. Follow the location TCP for exit from the Gulfport location.
